Every Thursday at 1pm PST (21:00 UTC) Moovweb hosts webinars tailored to a developer audience. We cover a range of topics — from getting started with the very basics of Moovweb, to generating a complete mobile site.
If you’re signed up on Moovweb, you will receive invites to these webinars on a weekly basis. If you haven’t received an invite and would still like to attend, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or click on an appropriate link below.
There are no upcoming live webinars. Check back soon, or watch one of our pre-recorded webinars below!
The session is in two parts.
Part 1: Foundations
This lesson provides you with an overview of how Moovweb technologies work (and what makes them so appealing!). We go through generating a project and setting up the server.
Part 2: Simple Site Transformations
We walk through a short project from start to finish, covering everything from generating the page to manipulating elements and styling them.
This course will go over some basic web development tools used by Moovweb. We will cover Git, XPath, and regular expressions.
Before transforming a site, it is important to know and understand the site layout and what you want to achieve in making a mobile site. This lesson explains how to understand a site for the purposes of transforming it, including how to plan out how the site should be transformed.
This course will take you step-by-step through the generation of a header for a mobile website.
It covers best practices in mobile site design and project structure. Obviously a whole mobile site is too much to cover in one webinar, so focusing on the header allows core mobile techniques to be introduced to a small section of the site.
Learn how to set up a professional production environment and deploy your mobile site live!
In this webinar we’ll be covering several advanced Moovweb features such as how to use Foundation in your project and how to create a microsite to add mobile-only content.
We’ll walk you through some simple examples using these features so you’ll be able to go out and try them yourself!
